CAMPSITE LANTERNA
The multiple awards winning Lanterna campground– one of the largest ones in Croatia – is a well maintained park stretching across a green peninsular close to the Porec world heritage site. The facility offers many opportunities to do sports and pets are welcome. Several rental accommodations – including small holiday homes in a typical Istrian style – are available for guests who don’t bring their own camping equipment. From the boat launch to the massage, the provided service is first class. Analogue to the hotel suites, there is even a “President’s campsite“ directly at the ocean boasting 200 square meters, a BBQ, sun loungers, sunshades and its own shower. The gravel beach is over three kilometres long; there is also a saltwater outdoor pool and a whirl pool as well as a children’s pool with slides and fresh water. During the day, the Valamar team of animators take care of the entertainment.
