Sportcamp Woferlgut is very nicely situated between Hohe Tauern National Park; which includes Austrias highest mountain Großglockner and the European Sports region Zell am See-Kaprun. Woferlgut has a long history, first mentioned in 1526. Today there can be no doubt that Woferlgut is the leading campsite in the region.
At Sportcamp Woferlgut you will find an activity program being outstanding throughout Europe. We offer a hiking and sportive, free of charge, programme during the whole year. Here you can go on hiking tours, join our tour guide on attractive mountain bike tours, learn free of charge crosscountry skiing and skating or go on a family bike ride. Directly on the site we offer sauna, steambath, 3 tenniscourts, a big gym, our own lake for swimming and an outdoor swimming pool all included in the price.
Sportcamp Woferlgut is centrally situated, so you can visit easily a lot of attractions like Europes biggest waterfalls, saltmines, an ice-cave, Austrias biggest mountain the Großglockner, the beautiful city of Salzburg and many other excursions.
In winter, the region between Zell am See and Kaprun and Saalbach Hinterglemm turns into a real skiing circus. The skibus leaves directly from the site and is free of charge. Cross country skiing is possible directly from the campsite.
On the campingsite all pitches are directly connected to gas, water and wastewater systems. The very beautiful campsite buildings include a drying room for skis and footwear, very spacious toilet facilities and cabins which can be rented. Non-camping visitors will be delighted with the excellent standard of ****Hotel Woferlgut with its beautiful traditional restaurant and wine cellar.
